Summary

This study developed a novel starch-based adhesive (OSPE) using diacetyl starch, polyethyleneimine, and epichlorohydrin. The enhanced adhesive exhibits superior dry and wet shear strength, improved water resistance, and excellent mold resistance for sustainable applications.
