Influence of a Collapsed True Lumen in Acute Type A Aortic Dissection.

Patients with acute type A aortic dissection and a collapsed true lumen often experience malperfusion. Staged repair with thoracic endovascular aortic repair (TEVAR) can achieve aortic remodeling when standard methods fail.
