- TNF receptor proteins were also elevated in membranous nephropathy and lupus nephritis, but not in minimal change disease.
- TNF-R7 showed an early increase, and multivariable analysis indicated these proteins could predict kidney function decline.

- Specific circulating inflammatory proteins, especially within the TNF receptor pathway, reflect disease activity and structural kidney injury in IgAN.
- These TNF receptor markers may serve as valuable biomarkers for identifying IgAN patients at higher risk of disease progression.
