Abstract:
Social determinants, such as economic, cultural, and racial factors, are significant contributors to health disparities among patients with cardiovascular disease, particularly in disadvantaged populations. This report outlines the strategies taken at a single institution to educate medical students about the social determinants that affect the health care needs of the Irish Traveller community.
