Abstract:
Neurological conditions are the consequence of impairment in the neuronal and glial cells. These neuronal disorders remain a significant concern for nations with industrialized economies. Even though our comprehension of the pathophysiology of strokes has grown over the past several years, greater understanding and additional education remain crucial for advancement in the field of stroke recovery. Present treatments are not optimal for each individual and cannot substantially improve the state of the disease. In the interim, the majority of the recipients still have neurological abnormalities even after receiving efficient thrombolysis; therefore, as soon as stroke damage takes place, recuperative therapies that foster brain reconfiguration and recognition are essential. Present treatments are not optimal for each individual and cannot substantially improve the state of the disease. Since the initial clinical trials were conducted more than 15 years ago, adult stem cells have been used for stem cell treatment in stroke patients. Although stem cells have shown potential in exploratory research and early therapeutic pilot studies, the use of cellular therapy to treat ischemic stroke is still in its infancy. Among the factors considered for cellular therapy for ischemic stroke are the types of stem cells, the mechanism of stem cell therapy, when and how to infuse stem cells, and the therapeutic applications of stem cell-based therapy for treating stroke.
