Topical Povidone Iodine 2.5% Versus 5% for Endophthalmitis Prophylaxis During Intravitreal Injections

Topical povidone iodine (PI) at 2.5% concentration was as effective as 5% PI in preventing endophthalmitis after intravitreal injections (IVIs). This finding suggests 2.5% PI may reduce ocular irritation while maintaining efficacy for IVI preparation.
