Developing the Type 5 Diabetes Knowledge Scale for Assessing Community Knowledge in Rural Settings.

A new scale, the Type 5 Diabetes Knowledge Scale (T5DKS), was developed to assess awareness of malnutrition-related diabetes in rural adults. The validated 10-item T5DKS is culturally adapted and psychometrically sound for low-resource settings.
