Abstract:
Three imine-based porous organic cages (POCs) were synthesized for iodine vapor capture and detection. The optimal N-CO-POC exhibited high uptake capacity of 6.12 g g-1 and strong fluorescence, enabling rapid and portable detection. Spectroscopic studies and DFT calculations revealed a chemisorption-driven mechanism.
