Abstract:
MicroRNA (miRNA) holds significant importance for early lung cancer diagnosis. This work utilizes the nanomaterial Zr-MOF as an electrode substrate, combined with the catalytic hairpin assembly (CHA) strategy, to construct an enhanced self-powered biosensing platform. A target-triggered redox reaction supplies energy to the system. By measuring transient current values using a smartphone, a good linear relationship was observed between the current and miRNA concentration (from 1 fmol/L to 100 nmol/L), with a low detection limit of 0.77 fmol/L. A visual colorimetric method driven by electrochemical reaction products and integrates both electrochemical and colorimetric detection. Detection results from both channels can be transmitted to a smartphone in real-time, facilitating on-site operation and data analysis. It provides a novel technical approach for the rapid and precise detection of miRNA, demonstrating significant potential for widespread application in clinical diagnosis and biomedical research.
