Summary

High-intensity interval training (HIIT) during pregnancy shows potential benefits for maternal health by inducing metabolic and immune adaptations. While cardiopulmonary exercise tests cause immediate changes, regular HIIT leads to sustained adaptations, possibly preventing gestational diabetes.
