This study shows that delivering HIF-1α siRNA via astrocyte-derived extracellular vesicles (ADEVs) can reduce Alzheimer's-like pathology and neurodegeneration in HIV-infected mice, offering a potential therapy for HIV-associated neurocognitive disorders (HAND).
