Abstract:
Pulmonary infection with Neosartorya udagawae (formerly known as Aspergillus udagawae) is a rare type of pulmonary fungal infectious disease, more prevalent in patients with immune deficiencies. This article reported the diagnosis and treatment process of a patient with normal immune function who suffered from pulmonary Neosartorya udagawae infection, summarizing the clinical and imaging features and reviewing the literature to enhance the diagnostic and therapeutic skills of clinical physicians for this disease.
Insights
Pulmonary infection with Neosartorya udagawae is rare, especially in immunocompetent individuals. This case report details the diagnosis and treatment of such an infection, offering insights for clinicians.
