Shoulder instability is a common orthopaedic condition that often requires surgical intervention. Anterior instability occurs more commonly, but posterior instability is increasingly recognized and managed as well. Trends toward earlier surgical intervention for instability patients have been recently promoted, and surgical management is continually evolving as more data and new techniques are published. The objective of this article is to describe and show a unique plication technique to address capsular laxity in patients with posterior shoulder instability.
