Abstract:
Lysimachia medogensis F. H. Chen and Hu 1979 is a narrowly endemic species in Medog county, Xizang Province, China. Here its complete chloroplast genome was assembled. It exhibits a typical circular quadripartite structure of 154,167 bp in length, consisting of a large single-copy region (84,223 bp), a small single-copy region (17,994 bp), and a pair of inverted repeat regions (25,975 bp). A total of 126 genes were annotated, including 85 protein-coding genes, 33 transfer RNA genes, and 8 ribosomal RNA genes. Phylogenetic analysis strongly supports its placement within the subgenus Palladia. This genome provides a crucial genetic resource for future phylogenetic and conservation studies.
