Abstract:
Artificial intelligence (AI) is transforming regional anesthesiology and pain medicine through enhancements in clinical care and education. AI offers the ability to predict clinical outcomes, streamline care, and improve safety. The application of AI to image interpretation may enhance the accuracy and safety of regional anesthesiology procedures. AI concurrently offers personalized educational content and learner assessment tools. However, significant limitations exist, including data security concerns, accuracy, and biases from limited or even flawed training data. The future of AI in anesthesiology requires active involvement from anesthesiologists to guide its development and use, thus ensuring ethical and appropriate implementation.

Local Anesthetics: Common Agents and Their Applications
Cocaine is an ester of benzoic acid and methylecgogine. It is used to anesthetize and vasoconstrict locally. Currently, it is used primarily for topical applications. It is beneficial for surgeries on the upper respiratory tract, providing anesthesia and shrinking the mucosa. Cocaine in the form of cocaine hydrochloride is...
