This study reveals piezocatalytic activity of Bi4V1.5Ti0.5O10.85 ceramic powder using Rhodamine B (RhB) dye. Bi4V1.5Ti0.5O10.85 ceramic powder was fabricated via solid state reaction method. The fabricated ferroelectric ceramic was characterized by X-ray diffraction, Raman spectroscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, and Scanning electron microscopy. The band gap for Bi4V1.5Ti0.5O10.85 was calculated to be 2.25 eV using Tauc's plot. Parametric studies were performed to determine catalyst performance in dye degradation under varying conditions such as catalyst dosage, dye concentration, and solution volume. During piezocatalysis experiments using an ultrasonicator, the maximum degradation was observed 77% in 240 min, and the rate constant (k) for this reaction is 0.0061 min⁻1.
