Abstract:
Milia en plaque (MEP) is a relatively rare benign epithelial lesion, with its etiology and standard treatment course yet to be established. A 10-year-old female presented with bilateral white auricular papules and plaques persisting for over 7 months. Following a history of frostbite on both auricles, white and yellow millimeter-sized papules developed on erythematous patches. Clinical and histopathological examinations confirmed a diagnosis of MEP. The patient was treated using radiofrequency ablation in combination with cyst content extraction via a comedone extractor. No recurrence was observed during the 11-month follow-up period.
