Reducing Delays in Postoperative Gynecologic Evaluations Through Automated Electronic Alerts
An electronic health record (EHR) intervention significantly reduced evaluation time for gynecologic surgery patients in the emergency department (ED). This quality improvement project decreased delays, improving patient care postoperatively.
