Abstract:
A two-dimensional cobalt-perylene diimide (Co-PDI) framework was constructed by incorporating a photoactive PDI-based tetracarboxylic acid linker (H4PDI-Naphth). Co-PDI demonstrated superior photocatalytic activity over the monomer H4PDI-Naphth in both the C-3 thiocyanation of indoles and the condensation of 2-aminobenzenethiol with aromatic aldehydes.
