Right Ventricular Reconstruction After Complete Excision of a Huge Cardiac Fibroma

Background:
Cardiac fibromas are rare, benign tumors predominantly seen in children, with few cases reported in young adults. Their management is extremely challenging and remains controversial, especially regarding giant cardiac fibroma.
Case Summary:
A 26-year-old asymptomatic woman was incidentally diagnosed with a large (114 × 67 mm) right ventricular fibroma via comprehensive imaging evaluation. She underwent successful complete surgical excision and right ventriculoplasty. Histopathology confirmed fibroma. Her postoperative recovery was uneventful, and over a 3-year follow-up period, she remained asymptomatic with no tumor recurrence and preserved right ventricular function.
Conclusions:
Complete resection of large cardiac fibromas is feasible with meticulous reconstruction, preserving function.
