Summary

A novel peptide, HDAP2, significantly increased retinal ganglion cell (RGC) survival in a glaucoma mouse model by stabilizing mitochondria. This offers a potential new therapy for glaucoma patients, even those with normal or refractory intraocular pressure (IOP).
