Genomic Prediction Ability Using Linear and Threshold Approaches for Different Stayability Definitions in Nellore

Genomic predictions for cow stayability (STAY) were estimated using threshold models, which outperformed linear models. The STAY48 definition, requiring at least two or three calvings, showed the most consistent performance for genetic evaluation in Nellore cattle.
