An in vitro comparison of different caries-detection methods in primary-molars

Early detection of occlusal caries in primary molars is crucial. The DIAGNOdent pen (LFpen) showed the best overall accuracy, while other methods like Midwest Caries I.D (MW) and Quantitative-Light-Induced-Fluorescence (QLF) offered high sensitivity or specificity.
