Summary

Shoulder roll positioning during thyroidectomy is linked to a mild decline in postoperative cognitive function, as measured by lower Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA) scores. Optic nerve sheath diameter (ONSD) did not show significant differences between groups.
