Herpes simplex virus associated rhomboencephalitis mimicking demyelination: a case report

Herpes simplex virus (HSV) can cause brainstem inflammation mimicking demyelinating diseases. Prompt diagnosis and acyclovir treatment led to significant recovery in a patient with HSV rhomboencephalitis.
