MUC1 in Colorectal Carcinoma: Association With Prognosis and Putative Anoikis-Resistant Structures

Mucin 1 (MUC1) in colorectal cancer (CRC) is linked to anoikis resistance. High MUC1 in lymph node metastases, not primary tumors, predicts poor prognosis and distant spread in CRC patients.
