    Background:

    • Bone marrow harbors pluripotent stem cells and differentiated myeloid progenitor cells.

    Purpose of the Study:

    • To determine if surface antigen expression changes during stem cell differentiation.

    • Bone marrow cells were treated with anti-brain antiserum and complement.
    • Stem cell survival was assessed by injection into irradiated hosts.
