A Radiographic Classification of Capitate Morphology and Its Association With Kienböck Disease

Kienböck disease (KD) is linked to specific capitate bone shapes. Type II capitate, characterized by a large, oblique facet, is an independent risk factor for KD, alongside negative ulnar variance.
