Defining optimal muscle surface area thresholds for sarcopenia-related mortality after cardiovascular interventions

Psoas muscle area (PMA) predicts mortality risk after cardiovascular procedures. Lower PMA, indicating sarcopenia, is linearly associated with increased long-term death risk, especially below a Z-value of -1.5.
