Summary

Magnetic resonance-guided focused ultrasound thalamotomy (MR-FUS) for essential tremor (ET) can rarely cause chorea. This side effect may occur when the lesion extends to the subthalamic nucleus (STN), disrupting the brain's indirect pathway.
