The relationship between antioxidant vitamins and mental disorders: a meta-analysis

This meta-analysis found that individuals with depression have lower dietary and blood levels of antioxidant vitamins A, C, and E. Schizophrenia patients also showed reduced blood levels of vitamins C and E, with a causal link found between schizophrenia and vitamin C.
