Abstract:
Music is now recognized in perioperative care for its anxiolytic and analgesic effects. It is a non-pharmacological alternative to chemical premedication, which is now rarely recommended due to its adverse effects. Beyond its therapeutic effects, the use of music has been very well received by patients.
