Changes in Plasma Glycine Concentration in General Anesthesia With Remifentanil: A Prospective Observational Pilot

Remifentanil anesthesia with glycine did not elevate plasma glycine levels in most patients. This limits the evaluation of N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor involvement in postanesthetic shivering and opioid-induced hyperalgesia.
