Abstract:
Overapplication of traditional chemical pesticides has had a great impact on the global ecological environment. Plant natural products have been widely used in agriculture, and about 40% of environmental protection pesticides are directly or indirectly derived from them. Myricetin (3,3',4',5,5',7-hexahydroxyflavone), as a natural product of flavonoids, has attracted much attention in agriculture because of its simple molecular structure and diverse biological activities. However, the potential applications and mechanisms of myricetin and its derivatives in pesticide preparation have not been systematically studied. We summarized and analyzed the research progress of myricetin and its derivatives in the field of pesticides, including the synthesis methods, functional modifications, application mechanism, and so on. CiteSpace was used to conduct a quantitative study of the research progress of myricetin. After a variety of highly active derivatives were listed and their mechanism of action summarized in detail, future prospects were put forward.

Transgenic Plants
The first-ever transgenic plant was a tobacco plant developed in 1983 that showed resistance against the tobacco mosaic virus. Since then, many transgenic plants have been developed and commercialized for improving the agricultural, ornamental, and horticultural value of a crop plant. Transgenic...
