Rhabdomyolysis is a rare but serious complication of hypothyroidism that can occur even in the absence of external triggers or classical symptoms. Early recognition through creatinine kinase screening in high-risk or atypical presentations is essential to prevent complications such as acute kidney injury and thus enable timely management.
