Abstract:
We describe an iron/amine synergistically catalyzed three-component protocol for the synthesis of vinyl ethers containing pyridine units. This method uses oxime esters, enals, and benzoquinones as readily accessible substrates, affording the vinyl ethers in moderate to good yields and displaying good functional group compatibility.
