Summary

This case study highlights an extremely rare instance of IgA nephropathy (a kidney disease) occurring alongside dermatomyositis (an inflammatory condition). Treatment with prednisolone and mycophenolate mofetil showed positive results for both conditions.

  • While coincidence cannot be ruled out, a common underlying pathological mechanism is suspected.
  • Further research is warranted to explore potential links between these conditions.
