Magnetic Purcell enhancement in nanohole arrays based on anapole resonances
Abstract:
We realize anapole modes through the design of GaP nanohole array metasurfaces, where destructive interference between electric and toroidal dipoles suppresses radiative losses, generating extended magnetic hotspots with substantial field enhancement. Next, we achieve a radiative Purcell enhancement exceeding 300-fold by positioning magnetic dipoles above the array. Importantly, this design eliminates the need for precise emitter alignment, offering a feasible solution for large-scale industrial applications.
