Summary

Laparoscopic choledochoduodenostomy (CDD) is a viable alternative to open surgery for difficult choledocholithiasis cases. While operative times and bile leakage were higher, laparoscopic CDD offers shorter hospital stays and less blood loss, proving non-inferior.
