Trends in Unprocessed Red and Processed Meat Consumption in the Mexican Population, 2006-2020.

Processed meat consumption remains high in Mexico, particularly among youth, with no decline observed. Reducing meat intake, especially processed varieties, is unlikely to negatively impact nutrient status, according to this study.
