Summary

This study found that an 8-session Multi-modal Cognitive Stimulation Program (MCSP) significantly improved cognition and quality of life in older Thai adults with mild cognitive impairment (MCI). The intervention group showed better cognitive scores and QOL compared to the control group.

Background:

Purpose of the Study:

  • To evaluate the efficacy of an 8-session MCSP on cognitive function and quality of life (QOL) in Thai older adults diagnosed with MCI.
  • To compare the outcomes of MCSP intervention against a control group in a randomized controlled trial setting.

  • A randomized controlled trial involving 66 Thai older adults with MCI, divided into intervention (n=32) and control (n=34) groups.
