Intravascular ultrasound (IVUS)-guided percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) in ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) did not increase slow-flow/no-reflow events. This IVUS-guided approach is safe and does not prolong procedure times or increase complications in experienced centers.
