[Chemotherapy for Epithelial Ovarian, Fallopian Tube, and Primary Peritoneal Cancer]

The standard first-line chemotherapy for ovarian cancer(including fallopian tube cancer and primary peritoneal cancer)is either TC(paclitaxel day 1/carboplatin day 1)every 3 weeks±bevacizumab, or dose-dense TC(pacli taxel day 1, 8, 15/carboplatin day 1 administered weekly)every 3 weeks. PARP inhibitors olaparib and niraparib are approved as maintenance therapy following initial chemotherapy for advanced ovarian cancer(Stage Ⅲ-Ⅳ). Olaparib is approved for maintenance therapy after first-line chemotherapy in BRCA mutation-positive(tBRCAmt)patients, and for maintenance therapy in combination with bevacizumab after first-line chemotherapy in patients with homologous recombination deficiency(HRD)who received bevacizumab. Niraparib is approved for maintenance therapy after first-line chemotherapy. For the treatment of recurrent ovarian cancer, niraparib was approved as maintenance therapy following chemotherapy in platinum-sensitive recurrent ovarian cancer, and as a treatment for platinum-sensitive recurrent ovarian cancer with HRD in patients who have received 3 or more prior lines of chemotherapy.
