This dataset presents transcriptomic and functional annotation data derived from spinal cord tissues of mice with experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis (EAE) treated with GV1001, a telomerase-derived peptide. Bulk RNA sequencing was performed to identify differentially expressed genes (DEGs) between GV1001-treated and vehicle-treated groups. The resulting DEGs were subjected to Gene Ontology Biological Process (GOBP) and KEGG pathway enrichment analyses, and further annotated by cell type using reference single-cell transcriptomic datasets. A subset of microglia-specific DEGs was extracted and analyzed to highlight GV1001 impact on innate immune regulation and neurorepair mechanisms. The dataset includes six tables detailing DEG lists, functional enrichment results, cell-type mapping, and microglial gene modulation. These data are valuable for researchers investigating neuroinflammation, glial cell biology, and peptide-based therapeutics, and can be reused for comparative analyses or hypothesis generation in central nervous system (CNS) disease models.
