Alzheimer's disease (AD) brain-derived extracellular vesicles (BDEVs) carrying the APOE4 genotype show increased tau pathology transmission and neuroinflammation. Targeting pro-inflammatory molecules in APOE4 BDEVs may offer a therapeutic strategy for AD.
