Individuals with Alzheimer disease neuropathologic changes (ADNC) but no cognitive decline show reduced neuroinflammation and downregulated TNF and NF-κB pathways. This suggests glial cell pro-inflammatory reactions influence cognitive outcomes in ADNC.
