Deficiency in phospholipase-C-γ2 (PLCG2) in excitatory neurons worsens tau pathology in Alzheimer's Disease (AD) by impairing the autophagy-lysosomal pathway (ALP). This suggests PLCG2 dysfunction contributes to AD progression.
