Summary

Sequential chemotherapy, including gemcitabine, cisplatin, and S-1 (GCS) followed by gemcitabine, cisplatin, and durvalumab (GCD), enabled conversion surgery for unresectable perihilar cholangiocarcinoma (PHCC) and achieved pathological complete response (pCR). This approach may expand treatment options for advanced PHCC.
