Purpose of the Study:

  • To investigate sensory processing in fibromyalgia, focusing on detection/discrimination and intolerance.
  • To explore how different sensory modalities are affected in fibromyalgia.

  • Self-report questionnaires were used to assess sensory processing.
  • 188 individuals with fibromyalgia and 121 controls participated.
  • The Sensory Hypersensitivity Scale and Sensory Perception Quotient were administered online.
