Sudden cardiac death from ventricular arrhythmias (VA) in ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) can be managed with mechanical chest compressions. The AutoPulse device facilitated resuscitation and percutaneous coronary intervention in a patient with resistant ventricular fibrillation (VF).
